Assignment 1: Portfolio
What do I do?
[1] View the Commercial Art Info Slides - HERE
[2] View the Adobe Illustrator Slides - HERE
[3] Create Google Account. View instruction slides to learn how. WRITE YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD IN YOUR PLANNER.
[4] Create a Google Drive folder called Assign-1, and upload any photo to it. View instruction slides to learn how.
[5] Create a Google Slide Presentation and add the photo you uploaded to Drive on it. View instruction slides to learn how.

What do I do?
Watch video about Kerning and make that file (instruction slides)

Assignment 3: Drawing a Robot
What do I do?
[1] Create a folder in your Drive called Assign-3 (Keep all files from this Assignment in there)
[2] Open the slides and watch the 2 videos to learn how to make the robot
[3] Draw the robot from the tutorial. Save an ai file and export a jpg of it and upload it to the Assign-3 folder in your Drive.
[4] Make a Slide Portfolio page for this assignment and paste link into Canvas for grading.
Assignment 3B: Exercise 1 - Drawing Shapes
What do I do?
[1] View these instruction slides and watch the video in them HERE
[2] Create the 5 shapes from the video using the shape builder tool, pen tool, and direct selection tool.
[3] Export a jpg of your practice and upload the ai file and jpg to your Google Drive in a folder called "Assign 3B".
[4] Create a new slide in your Google Slide Portfolio called "Assignment 3B - Exercise 1" and put the jpg of this exercise on it.
[5] Press the Share button in Google Slides and copy the link in Canvas for grading.
Assignment 4: Pokémon art
What do I do?
[1] Create a folder in your Drive called Assign-4 (Keep all files from this Assignment in there)
[2] Open the slides and watch the 2 videos to learn how to make the Pokémon art
[3] Draw the Pokémon art from the tutorial. Save an ai file and export a jpg of it and upload it to the Assign-4 folder in your Drive.

Assignment 5: Game Scene
What do I do?
[1] Create a folder in your Drive called Assign-5 (Save your work from this Assignment in there)
[2] Open the slides and watch the 2 videos to learn how to create a character and a scene of your own.
[3] Draw a character and scene like the slides show. (Save an ai file and export a jpg of it and save it to the Assign-5 folder in your Drive).

Assignment 6A: Comic Yearbook Titles

Assignment 6B: Comic Yearbook Page Backgrounds and Graphics
Follow directions from video and slides HERE to learn how to make 2 halftone page backgrounds and a minimum of 3 comic graphics. Use any colors you wish.
Assignment 7: Infographic
What will I learn?
Visual Hierarchy - how to balance a busy page by matching colors, alignment of elements, using the same styles, different sized fonts for more important parts of the page

[2] Open the slides and create an infographic like the slides show.
[3] Save an ai file and export a jpg of it and save those files to the Assign-7 folder in your Drive.
[4] Make a Google Slide in your Google Slide Portfolio for this assignment and insert the jpg on it.
[5] Share your portfolio link and copy and paste it into Canvas for your grade.

Assignment 20: Perspective Drawing
In this assignment we will learn about perspective art. You will draw a simple 1 point perspective for your project. Click on the slides HERE to learn how to do it and differentiate between the different types of perspective.
