Assignment 1: Portfolio
What do I do?
[1] View the Commercial Art Info Slides - HERE
[2] View the Adobe InDesign Slides - HERE
[3] Create Google Account. View instruction slides to learn how. WRITE YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD IN YOUR PLANNER.
[4] Create a Google Drive folder called Assign-1, and upload any photo to it. View instruction slides to learn how.
[5] Create a Google Slide Presentation and add the photo you uploaded to Drive on it. View instruction slides to learn how.

Assignment 2: Typography
What do I do?
[1] Click here to view the slides for the assignment and watch the demo videos.
[2] Create the text document shown in the video and save it as an .indd file
[3] Export your text document as a jpg and upload both files to Drive in a Folder you create called Assign2
[4] Open your Slide Portfolio, make a new slide called Assignment 2 and insert the jpg you exported.
[5] Make your Slide Portfolio public by sharing and copy the link and paste into Canvas for grading.
Assignment 3: Page Layout (Nature Articles)
What do I do?
[1] View the slides for the assignment. Download the files provided in there and watch the videos.
[2] Create the 2 nature articles shown in the videos and save them as an .indd files
[3] Export the 2 articles as jpg and upload all files to Drive in a Folder you create called Assign3.
[4] Open your Slide Portfolio, make a new slide called Assignment 3 and insert the jpg you exported.
[5] Make your Slide Portfolio public by sharing and copy the link.

What do I do?

You will build a tri-fold brochure and a logo. Follow directions on the slides and videos HERE.
Assignment 7: Yearbook Layouts
Follow directions on slides HERE to make 5 layout templates for our yearbook.
Assignment 8: Mobile Study Guide
Create a mobile website / app that will serve as a study guide for the certification test. Follow directions HERE.
Assignment 9: GMETRIX practice test
Access code given in class. Place your score in your portfolio for grading.
Assignment 10: Book Jacket Design
Follow directions and download template HERE to design your own book jacket.
Assignment 11: DVD Packaging & Disc Art
Follow the directions on the slides to make your package and disc art HERE
Assignment 12: Video Commercial
Click HERE to learn how to make a commercial using Adobe Premiere Rush
Assignment 13: Movie Trailer
Make a video in Premiere Rush or Pro that would be a good movie trailer. It can either be one you make up or an existing movie. Use a logo, fitting music, and video clips with transitions, titles and text, etc. like you did in the commercial.
