Sign up for Brain Buffet course and take the pre-assessment test. Students will start making a commercial to promote tourism in a city. They will work through modules 1.01-1.08 in Brain Buffet (import media, preferences, editing workflow)

Students continue making a promo for Porsche cars. They will work through modules 4.11-4.131 in Brain Buffet (finish challenge project and watch the sample videos “Spaceship” and “Project Breakdown”, and they will take a post assessment quiz)
Week 16:
Working in The Industry
Students will do the 5th module in Brain Buffet where they will watch videos about the video production industry and learn about copyrights, visual film techniques, shot types, and take a pre and post assessment quiz)
Week 17:
Tool & Interface Review
Students will do the 6th module in Brain Buffet where they will watch videos to review the course. They will take pre-and post-assessment quizzes.

Study for Cert Test
GMETRIX practice exams to prepare for certification in January.
This covers the 1st semester. The 2nd semester will likely be a similar set-up but switching to another software, Adobe After Effects.
*There are only 9 State Standards for this course (about making thumbnail sketches, etc) and we will cover those after this first semester is complete. The first semester is all exam objectives for Adobe Premiere Certification.
